Born in Rio de Janeiro, made the primary and secondary education at the College of St. Ignatius, RJ. He graduated in Medicine at the University Gama Filho / RJ in 1977, has specialized in Aesthetic Plastic Surgery and Reconstructive the Bonsucesso General Hospital.
     Specialized early in Reconstructive Surgery Leprosy, working since 1979 in Curupaiti State Hospital as Head of Plastic Surgery Service, from 1979 to 1988, when he became Director General of the Institute, remaining in that position until 1995.
     He is Head of the Plastic Surgery Department of the Federal Hospital of the State Server (HFSE). It was also Medical Health Ministry expert from 1995 to 2000. In 1994 received the Tiradentes Medal of the Legislative Assembly of Rio de Janeiro State.
     Dr. Domingos De Paola Quintella still works in his private clinic for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery in Copacabana, since 1977, having made specialization in the US and more than 50 works published abroad.
     Dr. Domingos Q. Paola is member of the Brazilian Society of Plastic Surgery (SBCP) and the Brazilian Society of Laser Medicine and Surgery (SBLMC). Other international associations prominent part: International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ISAPS), American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery (AACS), American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS) and the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ASAPS).
Few professionals in their specialty are so present at conferences in Brazil and abroad, having disclosed the specialty with dozens of lectures on its key techniques.
